Getting Started

First, you can attend your first class for FREE, just look under Class Schedule, pick out a time/day, send us a quick email and come on in, it’s that simple. After your free class if you decide that CrossFit is right for you, talk to one of the coaches, they will let you know what to do next.

If you have any hesitation about your current fitness level or are just a little apprehensive, we want you to know that we have all felt that same way too. Your coach will scale that day’s workout to fit your current fitness level.

Frequently Asked Questions

We recommend 3 sessions per week. This will give the absolute best results for most people most of the time. The difference between coming 2 sessions per week and 3 sessions per week is huge in terms of both results and the speed at which those results occur.

We do not typically recommend an Unlimited package for our new members. After you have been with us for a while, talk to one of our coaches to see if they feel that you are ready for more than 3 sessions per week. Your personal goals, fitness level and availability will affect their answer.

If you are comparing CrossFit’s rates to a regular gym, perhaps you shouldn’t. A regular gym and a CrossFit “box” are not the same thing ‘apples and oranges’ if you will.

Every class that you attend at CrossFit Combustion will have a CrossFit Level 1 certified coach!

CrossFit has incorporated an incredibly broad range of movements. You will find that your coach has an amazingly broad knowledge base to go with those movements.

If you were to price out personal training rates you will see just how inexpensive, by comparison, CrossFit really is. Not only does your coach have a huge knowledge base but, he or she will help to motivate you when you need it.

That old saying of “you get what you pay for” really does apply to CrossFit. The results that we help you get are statistically measurable, sustainable and achievable by all.

Whether your goal is to lose weight, to prepare for a competitive sport or just to feel better, NOTHING else comes close to CrossFit in terms of results.

We have member after member that has had some life-changing goal reached at CrossFit Combustion. But, had they never walked through the door, it wouldn’t have happened.

Our belief is that everyone needs a coach. Here is why: if you write and follow your own programming, you will inevitably program things that you are already good at. Leaving those weaknesses as weaknesses forever.

Because CrossFit is constantly varied we will help you identify those weaknesses and beat them into submission.

It is human nature that when you are with other, like minded people you will not quit. Our training is not easy. There are times in a workout when you may think that you cannot finish. However, when the person to your left and right are not quitting, neither will you.

History has proven that social groups rely on one another to survive and improve. We operate similarly. This hard training done side by side fosters a camaraderie that simply does not exist in regular gyms. This is part of what sets CrossFit boxes apart.

Yes, you may change plans at the beginning of any new month. We currently do not require a long term contract so there is no contract to cancel. However, we do require a 30 day notice to cancel your recurring payment for your membership.
