The bedrock to what we do at Combustion is with our standard CrossFit classes. These one-hour classes take place all through the week and follow programming with a weekly and monthly focus. Most CrossFit classes will include a strength portion (lifting) and a Metcon (cardio). Attending these classes will give you a great workout in a fun atmosphere where you will be coached to ensure you get better every day! CrossFit classes are open to all members and count towards your weekly class totals.
For our members who want to focus on barbell and specifically Olympic Lifting techniques. This one hour class will get you sweaty but not because your chasing down a competitive time. Lots of work on technique and time under tension will improve your barbell capacity in so many ways! Barbell club is open to all members and counts towards your weekly class totals.
Sunday School is from 1-3 every week. This class crams in 2-4 workouts that are focused on helping every member level up from where they are today. Similar to recess, there is a more flexible format to this class and the coach will typically workout with the class but they will still assist with a warmup, whiteboard etc. Sunday School is open to all members and counts towards your weekly class totals.
Yes, we said Recess! Our daily noon class is similar to our CrossFit classes but just a little less formal. Our members who like to get in a workout at lunch can arrive a little late, leave a little early and enjoy some other flexibility while still receiving a warmup, whiteboard (workout explanation) and some coaching. This interactive class typically involves the coach working out with the members but they are still at your service for questions about the workout, technique etc. Recess is open to all members and counts towards your weekly class totals.
Our kids classes will take our standard CrossFit programming and the coaches will find suitable scaling options for each and every kid in class. Combustion Kids is open to children between the ages of 8 and 14 but we give our coaches discretion on allowing kids start earlier or stay a little later.
